If you’re following me on social media, you may know that in less than a week I am beginning to transition my diet to keto. It’s something I’ve needed for a long time, but I finally feel like I can do it. So when I was thinking about the kind of food I’ll be eating, of course I thought of ribs. Tender, flavorful, falling off the bone, smothered in finger-lickin’ sauce. The problem is, most of those finger-licking’ sauces are pretty sugary.Read More
With Valentine's Day just a couple days away, I've put together a delicious, special meal for you your favorite people. Going out to dinner on holidays can be a nightmare with expensive pre fixe menus and crowds and making reservations. That's just not my thing, especially when I'm often a little disappointed at what I can eat at a restaurant. Sometimes I feel like I could make something yummier and less expensive at home, haha. This meal is the perfect example of that- incredibly rich and delicious, cheaper than you'd get in a restaurant, and no reservations necessary!Read More
Soooo....I heard there's some kind of football game coming up. I don't know much about it, but I know that whoever is watching should have good food to eat! Snacky appetizers are some of my favorite foods, so this little recipe round-up is fun. It includes some of my all-time favorite dishes, like my Dry Rubbed Chicken Wings and Burger Spice Fries. Love them. It also includes my Creamy Spinach Artichoke Dip, which is a reader favorite! If you're in the Denver area, you should come see me at 10am on January 27th at Natural Grocers on Leetsdale and Alameda. I will be doing a live cooking demo of some of these dishes to create a Grain-Free Game Day spread! I'd love to see you there!Read More
I think I had short ribs for the first time like, 2 or 3 years ago, and man had I been missing out! They're so tender they just fall apart. They're so moist and sumptuous. They are not inexpensive, but they are so worth it, at least occasionally.
In this recipe I paired short ribs with my Spicy Pineapple BBQ Sauce and my BBQ Dry Rub for layers and layers of flavor. The best part about this dish is that the slowcooker makes these a breeze, but also super impressive. Serve these to your significant other and they'll love you forever. Or serve them to yourself and you'll love you forever, too.Read More

I just love Christmas. Everyone's mood just seems to lift in December as we approach the holidays. One thing I really miss about living in New York City is the Christmas Market in Union Square. I worked on the 11th floor overlooking the park, and I absolutely loved taking pictures out the window as the leaves and park changed throughout the year. Wandering through the market always resulted in lovely, unique gifts and warm drinks. It was so lovely.Read More
