This recipe idea was a long time coming. I’ve wanted to make this for a while, but finding delicious peaches means waiting until local peaches show up at the farmer’s market. They’re always sweeter and more flavorful than grocery store peaches. And now is that time, so go grab some and make this recipe ASAP!Read More
Guys, it’s finally here! Diane Sanfilippo’s new book, Keto Quick Start, releases today! I’ve had the great opportunity to be on the launch team for the book, so I’ve had my copy for a couple weeks. I’ve been reading through it, and I can’t speak highly enough about it. There is so much information packed into this book, including 9 chapters on how to use keto to improve your health, meal plans, shopping list, incredible graphics, helpful tips, and over 100 recipes!Read More
It’s soup season! Once those crisp mornings begin, we always have soup in the fridge…..and the freezer. Soup is so easy to make, and perfect for meal prep and packing into lunch boxes. I think I say this every time I post a soup recipe, but this is one of my favorite uses of the Instant Pot! If I can make soup in 5 minutes, I am ALL IN.Read More
One of the most loved recipes on my site is my Crispy Chicken Tenders. I don't particularly enjoy chicken breasts, and when I got a whole bunch of them from Butcher Box, I created the crispy chicken tenders to make them a bit more...palatable. Delicious, actually. The chicken tenders make me excited to eat a chicken breast, haha. But when I got more chicken breasts, I decided to get creative again.Read More
Sorry I've been MIA for so long! If i'm honest, I've just been feeling burnt out and worn out. Not with the blog, fortunately, just other life stuff. So I finished the school year, I went to Nashville to visit my friend and her brand new twin girls (they were tiny and sweet and I literally died over them), and then visited my whole family in for a week long family vacation in Seattle. It was fun to see everyone and our Airbnb was gorgeous. And as a bonus, I got to see a few friends while we were there, too! Now.....on to the food!Read More
Since I live in Denver, I decided that it was time to put together a Foodie Travel post for this great city! The ironic part is that I cook so much, I never feel like I know where to go out to eat. This means that my husband and I tend to frequent the same places over and over. Buuuut, when it got down to it, and I started making a list, I realized there are some really amazing places here, and you should visit them on your next trip.
Denver is a great city to visit year round. The winter is fairly mild, but of course all the winter sports enthusiasts will be happy to head up to the mountains for skiing and snow boarding. But in rest of the year, Denver has some super fun neighborhoods to wander around, and some amazing hiking is just a short drive away.Read More
