Y'all, summer vacation is so close, I can almost taste it. And trust me, it tastes like this Strawberry Rose Sparkler. I mean, the patios are opening, and we all need something refreshing and light to sip on this summer.
I don't know about you, but summer is my FAVORITE! I used to love fall, but then terrible winter comes (I feel like I've said this all before). Blerg. So I've transitioned to a summer lover. I love the long, long days, short nights, fresh produce, festivals, outdoor concerts, margaritas by the pool, and most importantly: time off work! Freedom!
So while I'm not a fan of bathing suits and shaving legs all summer long, I'm willing to deal with them for the sake of having a wonderful summer. And these sweet, pink beverages will make you feel much better about bathing suits.
They're pretty easy to put together, by making a boozy strawberry sauce, then adding some sparkling water. And don't worry, if you don't think you like rose, there is only a tiny hint. These don't have full-on soap levels of flower power. The St. Germain and rose water add just a hint of light floral flavor to balance the strawberry. You're gonna love it, just try! Cheers to summer!!
