Are you sick of sweets yet? I promise that next week I'll give you at least 1 recipe that involves real food....like, actual vegetables. But for now, MORE TREATS! What are your favorite winter treats? On a snowy, cozy, winter night what do warm drink do you want in a mug? Tea? Classic hot chocolate? Fancy peppermint hot chocolate with some booze and whipped cream and candy cane pieces? Well may I submit to you...horchata white hot chocolate.
This recipe is a remix of the Horchata latte recipe I made this past summer. It is so thick and creamy and has the distinct flavor of horchata. The white chocolate gives it a richness, so you only need a little bit (the leftovers are SO GOOD in some coffee).
If you're not a bit white chocolate fan, you've still got to try this. It mostly adds richness, but lets the horchata shine. Also, if you're sensitive to dairy, try Pasha brand white chocolate, which is made with rice milk rather than dairy! Rice milk is so perfect for this recipe.
I created this for Edible Baja Arizona, so click the button below to head over to their website for the full recipe!
Don't forget, if you decide to sip on this, snap a photo for me! Post your picture on Instagram, and tag me at #ideatthatfoodtoo. You can also Pin this picture so you don't forget to make this another time!
