I had all these recipes planned for the next few weeks, but then I realized we’re only a couple weeks away from Thanksgiving!!! EEEE!!! Numero uno, I love Thanksgiving! It is one of my favorite holidays of the year, full of wonderful childhood memories. But, numero dos, it also signals the end of fall and beginning of winter. That means any and all fall, pumpkin, cinnamony goodness needs to happen immediately!Read More
Y'all, summer vacation is so close, I can almost taste it. And trust me, it tastes like this Strawberry Rose Sparkler. I mean, the patios are opening, and we all need something refreshing and light to sip on this summer.
I don't know about you, but summer is my FAVORITE! I used to love fall, but then terrible winter comes (I feel like I've said this all before). Blerg. So I've transitioned to a summer lover. What's not to like about a spicy, sweet, fizzy, tart drink? It's basically everything I'm looking for in booze. The first time I had a grapefruit mule was in Austin, Texas. My friends Jeff and Joel made them for us to sip on as we boated around the warm water of Lake Travis. I'm not sure why we associate grapefruit and citrus with summer. Perhaps because it's juicy and refreshing. But what they know in Baja Arizona is that the best citrus is available in the winter.Read More
