Guys. I know that we all like tacos. But these tacos are like…..well, you’re going to love them. They’re so good. Every once in a while I made a recipe and it turns out even better than I thought it would. This was one of those recipes. It takes a bit of time (ahem…pickling vegetables), but it’s worth it!Read More
Well, Labor Day is over, it’s back to the grind, and time to put all your white clothes away. Just kiddinnnnng, we don’t follow the rules. We wear whatever we want whenever we want, right?? That goes for eating whatever we want, too. And you know what I wanna eat? Shrimp Fajita Salads everyday. Even though it’s September, we still have another good month of summer in Arizona (it’s still over 100 everyday, don’t worry), so I’m going to squeeze every bit out of summer before it ends. I mean, my legs are still pasty white! I’ve got some work to do.Read More
Is there anything that doesn’t make a good taco?? I just realized that 3 of the 4 taco recipes on my website are seafood-based. This recipe idea was a long time coming. I’ve wanted to make this for a while, but finding delicious peaches means waiting until local peaches show up at the farmer’s market. Hi friends! Look at me, writing a blog post! I know it’s been a while, and I’ve actually been testing and photographing recipes that I never posted, haha. But I’m back! I’ve been working through some difficult things, so I appreciate the time away. But I’m feeling more and more like myself again, or perhaps like my new self, so I’m emerging a bit more. I was eager to get back to this space and feel inspired again.
Now, Easter was yesterday, raise your hand if you’ve got some leftover ham! We have a lot! Thankfully ham is super versatile, great for breakfast, on pizza, in this Instant Pot Hambone Soup . It’s also easy to freeze for later. But, I also love ham salad, and it’s seriously perfect for meal prep and packing into lunch boxes.Read More
I can’t remember how I got inspired to make this recipe, I think I just wanted another way to use kimchi. But it doesn’t really matter, because I’m just super thrilled that I made it. These little meatballs are delicious! They’ve got a bit of tang from the kimchi, umami from the porcini mushrooms, and just lots of deliciousness.Read More
